A partnership with the Overlander’s Way Group, represented by the seven MITEZ Local Governments the Educational Itineraries project was developed to leverage greater visitation outcomes for the drive tourism route.
Looking to the future the Education market was identified as an untapped opportunity for the Overlander’s Way and the concept to develop a range of education based travel itineraries, including appropriate activities related to school curriculum and accommodation and food options was developed.
Supported through MITEZ via State Government a brochure pack containing 4 seperate itineraries, relevant information and supporting promotional clips providing a snap shot view of what visitors would expect from their Outback Educational Experience was developed and launched.
